What are dermal skin fillers? – Dermal filler is a gel-like substance injected into the skin at different depths to help fill in facial wrinkles, provide facial volume, and augment facial features. Most dermal fillers are temporary, as they are eventually absorbed by the body.

What does it treat? – Dermal filler can be used to plump lips, enhance shallow contours, soften facial creases, remove wrinkles, and improve the appearance of scars.

What is the down time? – Recovery time varies for each patient. You can resume most activities right away, but it is recommended that you avoid intense physical activity for the first 24 – 48 hours to minimize swelling and bruising.

When can I expect to see results? – Results can be seen instantly, but can take approximately 4 weeks for filler to fully integrate.
