What is non-surgical fat reduction? – Nonsurgical or minimally invasive options for fat reduction include technology that uses heat, cooling or an injected medication to reduce fat cells.  Our treatment of choice is CoolSculpting a non-surgical procedure that selectively reduces unwanted fat using a patented cooling technology.

What does it treat? – the procedure works by gently cooling targeted fat cells in the body to induce a natural, controlled and permanent elimination of fat cells without affecting surrounding tissue.

What is the down time? – 0 to little down time

Pulse Light Laser

What is Pulsed Light Laser? – it is a treatment used for a wide range of skin conditions and imperfections — you may also know them as “photofacials.”

What does it treat? –  rosacea, broken capillaries, redness, spider veins, sun damage, age spots, freckles, enlarged pores, fine lines, skin texture.

MicroNeedling

What is Microneedling: a cosmetic treatment that uses tiny sterlized needles to puncture the skin causing an increased production of collegan and elastin to help heal the skin.  This leaves you with a younger, smoother, appearance.

Laser Hair Removal

What is Laser Hair Removal? – during laser treatment a laser beam passes throught the skin towards hair follicles. The penetrating energy then heats up the root of the hair, which in turn prevents future hair growth.

Hydrafacial

What is a Hydrafacial? –  a non-invasive, non-laser hydradermabrasion treatment that can improve your skin’s tone, elasticity and hydration and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles in as little as 30 minutes. The treatment is quite soothing and is sometime described as like having a cool paintbrush moving slowly over the skin. Wart Laser Treatment

What is wart laser treatment? – a laser treatment that effectively treats all warts that are fed by blood vessels, most typically plantar warts. Pulses of energy cause blood within wart-feeding vessels to coagulate, destroying the surrounding tissue, redirecting blood flow to healthier veins and “starving” the wart.

What does it treat? – help to eliminate all warts that are fed by blood vessels.

Laser Genesis

What is laser genesis? – use of a non-invasive, uniquely engineered laser to effect overall skin health and improvement and treat specific skin conditions.

What does it treat? – fine lines, rosacea, skin tone, brown spots, pore size

Vascular Lesions

What are vascular lesions? – vascular lesions are relatively common abnormalities of the skin and underlying tissues, such as hemangiomas, vascular malformations, and pyogenic granulomas.

How are they treated? – a non-invasive, laser light is directed through the skin targeting the unwanted capillaries or veins. The light used is preferentially absorbed within these blood vessels. The absorbed light is converted to heat, which irreversibly alters the capillary wall, promoting its removal.

What is electrocautery? –  an in office based procedure that uses electrical current to remove specific skin lesions, such as skin tags.

Botox,Dysport & Nuceiva

What are Botox, Dysport and Nuceiva? – they are all neuromodulators used to relax wrinkles and reduce the movements which result in frown lines, forehead lines, krinkle lines on the nose, crows feet around your eyes and lines around the mouth. They work to reduce muscle activity by blocking nerve impulses that cause the muscle to contract.

What does it treat? – helps to soften or eliminate wrinkles on the forehead, crow’s feet, frown lines and lines around the mouth.

When can I expect to see results? – 10-14 days

Dermal Fillers

What are dermal fillers? – dermal filler is a soft tissue filler injected into the skin at different depths to help fill in facial wrinkles, provide facial volume, and augment facial features. It helps to  restore a smoother appearance. Most of these wrinkle fillers are temporary because they are eventually absorbed by the body.

What does it treat? – plump thin lips, enhance shallow contours, soften facial creases, remove wrinkles and improve the appearance of scars.

# of treatments? – dependant on desired outcome

What is the down time? – recovery time varies for each patient. You can resume most activities right away, but it is recommended that you avoid intense physical activity for the first 24-48 hours to minimize swelling and bruising.

When can I expect to see results? – instant, takes approximatley 4 weeks for filler to fully integrate.

Results typically last nine to twelve months. There are many different types of fillers on the market that are used to treat various areas on the face and types of wrinkles. Dr. Burgess is an expert at selecting the right dermal filler for you.
