What is Pulsed Light Laser? – Sometimes called Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) or photofacial, Pulsed Light Laser is used for many skin conditions and imperfections. With a Pulsed Light Laser, the colour and texture of your skin can be improved without surgery or downtime. IPL uses light energy to target particular colours in your skin and reduces them, giving you a more even skin tone.
What does it treat? – Pulsed Light Laser works well on rosacea, broken capillaries, redness, spider veins, sun damage, age spots, freckles, enlarged pores, fine lines, and can improve your overall skin texture.
# of treatments? – Anywhere from 1 to 6 treatments may be needed based on your skin condition and desires. Our aesthetic technician will customize a plan for you and offer suggestions and options for meeting your skin goals.
What is the downtime from a Pulsed Light Laser treatment? – Most people experience very little pain and downtime.
When can I expect to see results? – The best results can be seen 1-2 weeks after treatment.
